Last weekend Jim Vetter Photography had the honor and pleasure of photographing the very cool wedding of Tifany & Luke at the Old Mint in San Francisco. The Old Mint, built in 1869, is the actual building where they minted silver coins and made money. This building survived the great earthquake of 1906 and if you ever go inside, you’ll understand why.
This venue was a great fit for the unique personal style of Tiffany and Luke – slightly edgy, slightly industrial and classicaly good looking!
And hats off to the amazing wedding professionals who made this event possible:

What a beautiful evening for engagement photos in San Francisco and at Baker Beach! San Francisco Wedding Photographer, Jim Vetter Photography had the honor and pleasure to photograph Dawn and Steve for their engagement last weekend.
We began by taking the streetcar downtown and then jumped in Steve’s old Bronco to head down to Baker Beach. I must say that Steve’s open air Bronco is a great way to see the city!
Thank you so much, Dawn and Steve! I had an amazing time with you as always. love you guys!!
As a San Francisco Wedding Photographer, I get to work in amazing locations with awesome people. This engagement session at Baker Beach was no exception. Devon and Matt are so easy going and great to be around that it doesn’t feel like work at all.
Once again, the weather was just perfect and we had beautiful views the entire time.
Devon and Matt will be married at the Mountain Terrace is Woodside, CA in early October. We can’t wait for the wedding and to see the lovely Devon in her gown.
We were lucky enough to catch low tide and were able to go out on the rocks at the end of the beach.
Thank you, Devon and Matt!

San Francisco City Hall Weddings are some of my favorites! The building is amazing – inside and out. I was so excited when Claire and Josh hired Jim Vetter Photography to photograph their wedding. They are a lot of fun and I knew their guest would be too.
Piglet, the french bulldog was even in the wedding 🙂
The inside of City Hall is full of beautiful spaces to make stunning photographs. Below is Claire and Josh in one of the five-flight marble stairways in the building.
Does Claire’s dress rock or what? Yes, those are Ostrich feathers 😀
After having a great time making photographs in City Hall, we hopped in the limo and headed over to the Embarcadero for some bayside portraits before hitting the reception at Epic Roasthouse which sits right on the Embarcadero walkway next to the Bay Bridge.
Claire looked flawless throughout the day. Her makeup was done by the firey Maria Parra.
Claire’s bouquet was created by the talented Anna Hoffman of Loop Event Design.
The scrumptious cupcakes were made by Jen’s Cakes. Always amazing, Jen!
Claire’s beautiful hair was done by Taryn Tamblyn. She looked amazing all day!
I grabbed this shot of City Hall on my way home. What a sweet wedding venue.
Thank you, Claire and Paul!
Treasure Island weddings can be windy and cold but the warm rustic feel of this wedding at The Winery San Francisco more than makes up for the nippy bay air. Jim Vetter Photography had the pleasure to photograph Courtney and Matt’s wedding on Treasure Island in May and what a sweet wedding it was!
There was the killer atmosphere of the Winery SF, great food from Simmer & Sear, and some good old funk thrown down by The Nibblers. This was the best wedding band I’ve heard in a long time. Go check out one of their shows. They kick ass!
Here is a video slideshow of some of the highlights from the day.
Below, Courtney finishes getting ready and shows off her gorgeousness. The shot in the middle is one of my favorites. This is Courtney as a child with her late mother. The sweetest thing ever.
The details at the wedding were very cool. Check out the fitting placecards below! And I LOVE the His and Hers guitars on their chairs. Oh! … and nice socks Matt!
Thank you Courtney and Matt for including us in your awesome wedding day!
