We had a great time recently while we covered the grand opening of the San Francisco location of eDressit. This is the newest bridal salon in Union Square and is a beautiful location. If yoiu’re in the market for a dress, you really should check them out. They are at 590 Sutter Street, near Union Square in San Francisco.
As a San Francisco Wedding Photographer, I get to shoot in some fantastic places. Golden Gate Park is certainly one of my favorites. Katie and Edward had their engagement photography session in the park last week. We had a beautiful day and made the most of the Japanese Tea Garden, The Music Concourse and Shakespear’s Garden.
This first shot is in the Japanese Tea Garden by the little Zen Garden area.
The Music Concourse is a really cool area of the park. There is a big stage flanked by pillars, lots of benches for sitting to watch performances and two beautiful fountains.
Shakespear’s Garden is next to the Music Concourse and has a quaint little garden area seen below.
Congratulations, Katie & Edward! Can’t wait for the wedding day
Years ago, I did a very romantic thing for Valentine’s Day. I was living in England and wanted to woo a girl back in California. So, I wrote a song for her, burned it to a CD (which was a big deal back in the mid-90′s) and had it delivered to her with a dozen roses and a bottle of champaign.
To get this stuff to her on the 14th required a monumental effort since the song wasn’t completed until February 12th. It included the CD being hand-carried on a commercial flight to San Francisco, picked up by a limo service and hand delivered to her at work on the 14th.
I was rather new to the guitar so the musicianship isn’t pro but the sentiment is real
Anyway, I thought I’d share this song with you and maybe it will become special to you too.
One of my favorite weddings of 2013 was the very intimate event at the Four Season Silicon Valley in Palo Alto. This was the wedding of Gina and John. It was attended only by the Bride & Groom, their two-year old daughter and the bride’s parents. It was the most beautiful setting I’ve seen for a wedding all year. As always, the staff of the Four Seasons was amazing to work with. It is always a joy to shoot there.
