Dulce and Cedric were married at San Francisco City Hall following a quick portrait session at Stern Grove. City Hall has their giant Christmas tree at the top of the stairs and it is breathtaking. Such a beautiful place for a December wedding!
Stern Grove is always beautiful with its towering trees and beautiful stonework and walking paths. Its worth checking out for weddings and other events.
Once again I had the honor and pleasure to photograph the San Francisco NACE annual gala. This year it was held at the amazing Old San Francisco Mint in downtown SF. I always love shooting there!

We love weddings on the bay! And Hornblower Cruises is the very best way to get married on the bay 🙂 We had the honor of photographing the wedding of Jessica and Josh recently and here are some highlights below. Congratulations, Jess & Josh!
David surprised Shareen with a ring and a photographer under Cupid’s Span on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. I was posing as a tourist and captured their San Francisco marriage proposal. Jim Vetter Photography has been doing a lot of proposal lately 🙂
She said yes!

One of my 2018 wedding clients, Megan, just happens to manage a bridal gown shop near San Francisco. It is called Garnet & Grace. They specialize in couture gowns at outlet prices. They have amazing dresses there. Do check them out!
Megan invited me to photograph some of their new dresses at the shop. When I visited the store for the first time, I was thrilled to see the beautiful hardwood floors, deep garnet red walls, and a big skylight at the back of the main room. All of this meant that I’d have a beautiful setting for our shoot.
I have been involved with the northern California International Live Events Association (ILEA) for several years and its been a great professional network for my business. I recently sponsored one of their events by photographing it.
This event was at Tank 18 in San Francisco. This is a cool venue with wine barrel racks, a stainless steel bar, walls of wine bottles. Kind of a raw space but that makes it a great canvas to create your event.
As an SF Bay Area Wedding and event photographer, I love discovering cool new venues and this is one of them!
The surprise marriage proposal of Rose and Michael on a misty day in St. Helena, California at Joseph Phelps Vineyards. They flew in from the east coast for a getaway which turned out to be more than Rose expected! After their planned wine tasting, Michael took Rose outside and proposed in the rain. Congratulations, Rose & Michael!
Andy and Elizabeth travelled to San Francisco all the way from Miami for a weekend getaway. Andy surprised her by proposing at Muir Beach. He arranged for me to be there to covertly capture the moment. (she said yes)
Karyna and Ben contacted me about doing a maternity photo session and wanted to do it in an outdoor, natural setting. I had done two other maternity sessions up on Mt Tamalpais this year and suggested that we go up there again. To my delight, Karyna and Ben loved the idea. Needless to day, Mt Tam gave us a beautiful setting for this shoot.
